Coffee vaping is apparently the new model diet.

A Chinese company has tapped a sultry influencer to hawk a new caffeinated vaping device, advertised as “coffee you can breathe.”

In a video posted to Facebook, Canadian influencer Adrianne Ho seductively poses with her SnowPlus coffee vape, claiming it has made it easier for her to caffeinate as she jets around the world posting selfies for her 819,000 Instagram followers.

“It allows me to have coffee when I’m on the go,” she says in the video. “I could just get a quick hit of caffeine and feel energized.”

She explains the SnowPlus coffee vape, which the company claims is the first vape pod “made from real coffee,” has become a “coffee alternative” for her.

The starter kit costs $39.99 and comes with the vaping device, a USB cable, one iced matcha latte pod and one cappuccino pod. While the coffee vape does not contain nicotine, the device can be used with nicotine pods, too, since it uses the same atomization technology as e-cigarette devices.

A public health expert told Insider that the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not likely approved vaping devices for smoking coffee nor have there been studies about the adverse effects of inhaling the stimulant.

However, countless lung-related illnesses stemmed from vaping have the nation in crisis mode, prompting the FDA to consider a ban on flavored e-cigs, often marketed to teens through “vape influencers.”

Hong Kong-based electronics company Otolab, which makes the coffee vape, says the new device will help “make this world a better place” by adding convenience to coffee.

“We can’t live without coffee in our daily life, but coffee is not always accessible everywhere,” Otolab writes on its website. “Why don’t we create a device that can be carried every day in your pocket, like the super-nano espresso machine, so that you can enjoy your coffee anywhere you want, hassle free.”

We take it they haven’t heard of Starbucks.
