Ruby's Pantry in far western Duluth is from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Fond du Lac Community Church, 521 131st Ave. W. Doors open at 10:30 a.m.

American Red Cross blood drives: To make an appointment or for more information, download the Red Cross blood donor app, visit redcrossblood.org or call 800-733-2767.

  • Yoga - Winter Session: Jan. 27 through March 5 - Help introduce adults living with a disability to the benefits of yoga by practicing mind-body concepts and practical exercises. Classes are led by certified adaptive yoga instructors. Volunteers help participants experience a variety of yoga poses by adapting the poses to the participant's abilities. Volunteers commit to one lesson per week. New volunteer training is 5-6:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 23, at the College of St. Scholastica Health Science building, 1200 Kenwood Ave., Duluth.

  • 2020 Great Lake Mono Ski and Race Camp at Spirit Mountain (Feb. 26-28): Volunteers are needed for both skier/snowboarder and non-skier “boots on the ground” roles each day of camp. You can volunteer one, two or all three days. Please inquire for details on volunteer shifts/roles.

  • Shoot for Fun (held the first weekend after Labor Day): Seeking volunteers to help with prize donations for this annual fundraising event. If you are interested in learning more, contact Eric Larson at eric.larson@allina.com or 218-726-4834.

Ecumen Lakeshore is seeking volunteers for the following. If interested, contact Jana Warner, Volunteer Coordinator, at 218-625-7822 or janawarner@ecumen.org:

  • Meal Packer for home delivered meals: A cold bag and a hot tray are prepared for each client. Meals are then packed into a hot bag and a cold bag for each delivery route. Meal packers must be able to volunteer for at least 1½ hours once a week, Monday through Friday, beginning at 8 a.m. or as your schedule allows; able to stand for 1½ hours at a time; and must complete the Ecumen Lakeshore volunteer application process.

  • Delivery Drivers for home delivered meals: Volunteers use their own vehicles to pick up meals from Ecumen Lakeshore, 4002 London Road. Meals are ready for pick up at 9:45 a.m., Monday through Friday. Each route takes approximately one hour. Empty route bags and the list of clients is then returned to Ecumen Lakeshore. Drivers must be available at 9:45 a.m. for an hour or two; possess a vehicle that is in good working order; have a current driver’s license and insurance coverage.
